The theatre has the power to transcend the audience to an imaginary and fantastical realm.  For several years I have been building small-scale stage models, lighting and photographing them.  These images have been strongly influenced by my fascination with the effect of story telling that has on ones imagination.  

These sets are based off of the story of Peter Pan.  This story is all about the imagination and how far one can take it.  The “rules” of Neverland is unique to each person; it is ever changing based on what a person desires.  What I find interesting about Peter Pan is its history and the writer’s intent.  One of the many points James Barrie was trying to tell people to be more light hearted, to remember the child inside all of us.
